In a commanding performance at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Saturday evening, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC dispatched struggling Asubo Ladies FC 3‑0 to solidify their position at the top of the table.

Goals from Agnes Nabukenya, Dorcus Kisakye, and Asia Nakibuuka sealed the win, marking Kawempe’s 8th consecutive victory and extending an unbroken league run.

Kisakye’s standout display earned her the Woman of the Match award—the first of the season for the forward.

The triumph lifts Kawempe to 25 points, eight ahead of second‑placed Kampala Queens and She Corporate, both locked at 17 points with a game in hand.

Elsewhere on Saturday, At Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso, Rines SS WFC and Amus College WFC shared the spoils, with Prossy Akasa (Rines) and Esther Namataka (Amus) finding the net.

At Olila Grounds, host Olila H/S WFC drew 1‑1 with She Maroons. Atwani Brenda scored for Olila, while Lillian Kasuubo netted a penalty for She Maroons.

-Makerere University WFC rescued a point against Lady Doves through a controversial penalty converted by Halima Kampi, equalising 1‑1.

Resty Kobusobozi delivered an outstanding performance for Lady Doves, winning the Woman of the Match.

Match day 8 concludes this morning with two games as newbies St. Noa GFC clash with Uganda Martyrs WFC at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

Kampala Queens and rivals She Corporate lock horns at Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
