In a celebratory morning at the Finance Trust Bank headquarters, Kawempe Muslim Ladies head coach Ayub Khalifah Kiyinji and captain Agnes Nabukenya were feted as Coach and Player of the Month for November in the FUFA Women Super League.
Kiyinji steered his team to four consecutive victories—against She Maroons, She Corporate, Amus College, and Lady Doves—securing maximum points in match days five to eight.
“I am grateful to be named Coach of the Month,” he said.

“I thank Finance Trust Bank for investing in the development of the game, and FUFA for giving the girls a platform.
These achievements are a result of collective effort from the technical team and the players. We remain focused on winning more games.”
Nabukenya, meanwhile, netted four goals and registered two assists in the assessed matches, edging out her competitors for the monthly accolade.
Her goals came in braces against She Maroons and Amus College.

“I thank my teammates for their effort because we always work as a unit, which has helped me win this award,” she said.
“My goal is to keep winning matches and scoring goals to help the club win the league.
I also aim to claim the MVP and top scorer awards at the end of the season.”

Kawempe Muslim Ladies currently top the league table with 25 points from nine matches, remaining the only unbeaten side this season.
Both Kiyinji and Nabukenya received a trophy and UGX 500,000 from Finance Trust Bank.
In related honors, Nsereko Musoke Isa of Nim Sport Media and Henry Gwasse of Sanyuka Prime TV were named journalists of the month, each receiving UGX 250,000 from Finance Trust Bank.
