Kawanda continues winning streak with thrilling 31-20 victory

Kawanda Secondary School’s girls’ handball team has maintained its flawless record at the ongoing FEASSA Games in Kakamega, Kenya, triumphing over Tanzania’s Diongoya 31-20 in a fiercely contested match.

This victory extends Kawanda’s winning streak, following their impressive 35-20 win over Dagoretti High School in their opening match.

In an exclusive interview, Coach Fred Ayeti attributed the team’s success to rigorous preparation and commitment, stating, “We have had a good start to the tournament, and the sweat of hard work is paying off.

Our prowess will be tested tomorrow in a crucial tie against Kibuli SS.

A win will definitely ease our path to the final.”

The upcoming match against Kibuli SS promises to be a thrilling all-Ugandan affair, with both teams vying for supremacy.

Kibuli, who suffered a 33-25 loss to St. Joseph’s Kitale in their previous match, will need to avoid defeat to keep their championship aspirations alive.
