The final preparations are underway to host the Soccer With Vision League at Kanjuki Junior School in Kayunga District.

According to Basomesa Issa Ntale, the school’s director, everything is in place to ensure a successful tournament.

“It’s a big opportunity for us as Kanjuki Junior School Kayunga to host such an exciting football tournament for youths. We are more than ready to have it played here,” Ntale said.

The league is set to resume on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, with Kanjuki Junior School, the Uganda Primary Schools Sports Associations U12 Boys football champions, hosting the event.

The school was given the green light to host the tournament following a decision by the organizers, and a document signed by the president, Nsubuga Ronald, issued on May 23, 2025.

“We are eagerly waiting for this outing because whenever we go outside Kampala and Wakiso, the organization is massive, and exactly that is what we are expecting to find in Kayunga,” Ronald Nsubuga stated.

The current standings have Madinah Islamic Junior School leading the table with 43 points, followed by Mustard Seed Junior School and Alsowed Islamic Primary School, both with 41 points.

Kanjuki Junior School is in fifth position with 34 points but with two games less played.

The Soccer With Vision League was started in 2018 with the objective of identifying, nurturing, and developing football talents through organized football.

The league has been running successfully, with previous winners including Peaiel Junior School Masajja and Anne Marie Primary School Mugongo.

Kanjuki Junior School is excited to host the tournament, and the school’s director is confident that the event will be a success.

“We are more than ready to have it played here,” Ntale reiterated.

The tournament promises to be an exciting event, showcasing the talents of young footballers in the U12 category.
