Islamic University In Uganda (IUIU) rallied from a goal down to edge a10 man Busitema University 2-1 at home.

IUIU’s win became the first victory for a visiting side this season. However, IUIU’S 100% winning record in all meetings continued.

Denis Odongo and Ismael Tamubula were on target for IUIU while Derrick Waduuma scored for the hosts Busitema University.

Waduma  headed home to give the hosts an early 18th  minute 1-0 lead.

However, the scorer became a calamity when he received a red card 62 minutes into the game for wasting time after a second yellow card.

The Kebba coached IUIU boys equalized in the 83rd minute through Denis Onongo off a Shinkanga well delivered free kick.

Two minutes later in the 85th, Ismael Tamubula  won the day with an explicit press at the back of the net after a constructed move.

IUIU’s win at its usual customers Busitema University put the at the top of group A with three points.

Action in Pepsi University Football League will continue this Saturday as Kumi University hosts Ndejje in Kumi.
