THOUGH he has been faced with a number of mechanical gremlins, Uganda’s Duncan Mubiru populary know as Kikankane,has vowed to fight on until the last stage of he 2026 WRC Safari Rally, that climaxes on Sunday.
The unforgiving world’s toughest gravel Rally had many crew test it’s worth including the world’s top drivers.
Kikankane after ending day2 of the Safari,having returned under super Rally on Friday, is hoping that he will finish the event by Hook or crew.
“I opened up my day with my front window screen failing to clearing the day’s opening stage of Loladia, after the cancellation of Camp Moran that turned out to be impassable, after a heavy down pour on Thursday night,” explained Mubiru on return form day’s last stage.
Mubiru added ,he has had fight until the last stage even with mechanical breakdown of his car.
