The Syli Nationale’s CHAN 2024 campaign came to an end in a 1-1 draw against Algeria in a Group C encounter on Friday at the Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.
Guinea needed a win to revive their slim chances of advancing to the quarterfinals, but the Algerians’ late equalizer dashed their hopes.

The first half was a closely contested affair, with both teams creating few scoring opportunities.
However, the match sprang to life in the second half when Guinea’s Ismael Camara broke the deadlock with a stunning strike in the 62nd minute.
