UCU Lady Cardinals have registered a second consecutive victory after a 1-0  win against She Maroons in the Fufa Women Super League.

The game was played at UCU grounds in Mukono on Saturday, 12th January 2022.

Nasuuna scored UCU’s only goal with after a beautiful play, run, and finish  in the 31st minute on Saturday evening.

The win took UCU to the table summit with six points after two games.

Elsewhere, Uganda Martyrs won 3-1 against Lady Dove FC at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.

Nakigozi Elizabeth put Uganda Martyrs in the driving seat after just 15 minutes to give them a lead.

Nakigozi who joined Uganda martyrs this transfer window has scored against her former pay masters Lady Doves.

She was on score sheet in last season’s final as Lady Doves beat UCU to win the Super league at Njeru.

Latifah Nakasi made it 2-0 in the 63rd minute before Nabbosa Riticia pulled one back for Lady Doves in the 68th minute.

However, Catherine Nagadya sealed it for Uganda Martyrs in the 90th minute of the game.

Uganda Martyrs is now fourth on the table with three points from two games played so far.
