Fresh Diary marketing manager Vincent Omoth asserted that their sponsorship to Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Fresh Diary Games essentially serves to nurture the youths sporting talent while highlighting the need for health and nutrition using our products.

Omoth was speaking at the official opening ceremony of the 2022 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Fresh Diary Games.

The opening ceremony which was graced by Gulu City RCC Frances Jane Amongin Okil Was held at Pece Stadium on Thursday, 21st.

“Our sponsorship essentially serves to nurture the sporting talent of our youth while highlighting the need for health and nutrition using our products. Fresh Dairy believes in developing a complete individual in terms of Sports, Academia and Health.”

“Fresh Dairy’s products are both healthy and nutritious. They include Long life or UHT milk, Fresh Milk, Flavoured milk, milk powder, Yoghurt, butter, ghee and cream, all coming in various sizes to suit varying customer preferences.” He added.

Seven sports disciplines including Basketball, Football Girls U20, Rugby – 15’, Hockey, Table Tennis, Badminton, Tennis are on the daily menu card.

National and FEASSSA girls football champions Kawempe Muslim, St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana, Wakiso Hill, Wakiso district champions Taggy and 2018 National champions Gadafi Integrated are some of a few teams yet to lose a game.

In basketball girls, FEASSSA champions St. Noa Girls Secondary Schools-Zana, reigning champions St. Mary’s Kitende and Buddo SS are still enjoying sublime form.

In boys basketball, reigning champions Buddo SS, Wakiso district champions Bethel, Mbogo Mixed and St. Cyprian Kyabakadde concluded day three with 100% winning record.

The games that started on 18th will run up to 26 April 2022.
This tournament also serves as Federation of East African Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) Games Qualifiers.

Top performing schools will represent Uganda at the forthcoming FEASSSA championship later this year in Tanzania.
