Kanjjuki Junior School made a commanding start to the 2026 Buganda Schools Competitions netball tournament after securing a dominant victory on the opening day of the primary schools’ category.

In an impressive debut performance, Kanjjuki Junior outclassed St. Apollo Nursery and Primary School with an emphatic 18–0 win, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting campaign in the competition.

The convincing result highlighted the team’s attacking sharpness and defensive discipline as they denied their opponents any scoring opportunity.

Elsewhere in the day’s action, Good Times Kawaala registered a 13–6 victory over Twinbrook Schools in another competitive fixture.

Winsa Primary School also produced a strong showing, edging Joy Mother 16–10 before delivering one of the biggest wins of the day with a 33–0 triumph against Stallions Nursery and Primary School.
Joy Mother later recovered to defeat Kyeyune Islamic Primary School 17–10 in their subsequent match.
The opening day results set the stage for a competitive netball tournament in the primary schools’ category, with Kanjjuki Junior School already emerging as one of the early teams to watch following their flawless start.
