Former KCCA FC forward Dominic Oyella is thriving in America, having scored 15 goals and registered 3 assists since joining Lindsey Wilson College this summer.

The fan favorite has become a top scorer for his team and helped Lindsey Wilson College win the Regular Season title and a silver medal in the cup competition, narrowly losing to the University of Cumberlands on penalties.

In an exclusive interview with this website, Oyella revealed the factors contributing to his impressive performance in a new environment.

“It’s not easy to settle into a new team, but my coaches have done their best to improve me, and it has paid off so far,” he said.”

“At Lindsey, we do a lot of video analysis, which helps me improve myself and understand our opponents before playing against them.” He concluded

Oyella’s impressive form in America is no surprise, given his previous achievements.

He was named MVP of the 2022 Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Association (FEASSSA) Games in Arusha, Tanzania, after guiding Kibuli Secondary School to gold and scoring a brace in the final.

In 2020, he was promoted from the KCCA Soccer Academy to the KCCA FC senior team before leaving in August this year to join Lindsey Wilson College in America.
