Defending champions St. Noa and Kawempe Muslim share spoils in a dull show as Amus thump Boni Consilli

In a fiercely contested match marked by high levels of physicality, tempers, and protests, defending champions St. Noa Girls and Kawempe Muslim played out a dull 0-0 draw at the Kakamega High School grounds in the ongoing Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Associations (FEASSA) Games.

The match took a dramatic turn when Kawempe Muslim’s head coach, Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi, was shown a red card and sent off the bench just a few minutes after the restart of the second half.

Despite the setback, Kawempe Muslim held their nerve to deny St. Noa Girls a crucial win.

The draw takes Kawempe Muslim to two points in Group A, following their earlier goalless draw against Kenya’s Bishop Njenga.

Meanwhile, St. Noa Girls have moved to four points, building on their impressive 6-0 win over Rwanda’s PSBB Huye in their opener.

In a separate encounter, Uganda’s Amus College School thrashed debutants Boni-Consili 4-0.

The goals were scored by Vicky Atyeronimungu, Faith Akol, Edna Wanda, and an own goal.

Amus College now has four points, having played out a goalless draw against Kenya’s Butere Girls in their opening match.

Boni-Consili remains winless after losing their opener 1-0 to Kenya’s Bishop Njenga.
