Mukono High School staged and explicit show to win the Greater Mukono region Dancesport Schools championship.

Serving as National qualifiers, the championship was held on Sunday, the 16th June 2024 at Vision for Africa School in Nakifuma.

 

Mukono High School beat last year’s champions Vision for Africa winning four (4) Gold medals out of the possible six (6) to reclaim their glory.

It should be remembered that Mukono won their first regional title in 2022.

Bossing the stage with great adroitness in steps and moves, Mukono won Gold in Breaking  (boys), Afro (girls) and Pop in both boys and girls.

Performing before a huge home crowd, Vision for Africa was second on two gold medals coming from Afro (Boys) and Breaking (boys).

Four schools took part in this regional qualifier championship. They include champions Mukono High, 2nd placed Vision for Africa, St. John’s Kauga in the third position and St. Michael Ssonde.

Two schools Mukono High School and Vision for Africa qualified for National schools Ball Games II slated for July at Teso College Aleot in Soroti.
