Defending Champions Park FC all seeking to replicate their last Season performance which took them to win the league unbeaten as they face off with Mengo City.

Park FC Coach Ssegawa is optimistic that his side is still good enough to leave no stone unturned this season.

“We are the same team that went unbeaten last season. This season, the target is bigger than before”. Park Fc Coach Ssegawa

Ahead of the new season kickoff on Friday, Park FC will entertain Mengo City in the fifth game of the opening day at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

Last season, Park Fc won both ties 7-3 in March and 4-2 in December a performance they would like to replicate tomorrow.

“We can’t know what the challenges are at the moment. The only positive in the camp is, we’ve prepared ourselves and we are ready for whoever comes our way”. Alex Ssegawa added.

“This Friday Mengo is going to be our first test, let’s rate ourselves after the game.

How we handled all the games last season is the same way we are going to carry ourselves into this game too. We are playing like the final game of the season”. He concluded.

Going into the new season Park FC let Gibran Nduhukire and Idi Babu to exit the club. However, the champions kept many of their best performing players of last Season.

On other side Mengo City coach Ismail Sendege is not intimidated with what happened last Season and he said.

“I know they won the league last Season, they were unbeaten and they have got so much experience but this is a new season.

We are all going to play the same ball and we want to win our opening game”.
