KCB Bank, FMU unveil continued partnership, fueling the thrill of Ugandan Motorsport ahead of Rajiv Ruparelia Memorial Rally

KCB Bank Uganda has once again thrown its weight behind the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda (FMU), solidifying their partnership in a launch event held at Somewhere Else in Naguru.

This collaboration is set to power the highly anticipated Rajiv Ruparelia Memorial Rally, taking place in Gulu from October 9th to 11th, 2025.

The bank’s commitment to Ugandan motorsport has been evident throughout the year, with significant sponsorships across the National Rally Championship (NRC) calendar.

These efforts have driven some of the most exhilarating rallies in 2025, including the Pearl of Africa Rally, the Bugerere Stabex EMC Rally, and the Fort Portal Rally.

According to Sheila Awori, Ag. Head of Communication and Marketing at KCB Bank, “We see motorsport as a metaphor for the journey of progress and resilience that our country is on.”
