Kawempe Muslim makes a splash in Beach Soccer with convincing debut win

In a thrilling debut, Kawempe Muslim Secondary School made a bold statement in the world of girls beach soccer by convincingly defeating the defending champions, Standard High School Zana, with a score of 6-3.
This impressive victory marks a historic moment for Kawempe Muslim, as they participate in the beach soccer tournament for the first time in the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association’s championship.
Dorcus Kisakye’s Historic Goal
Dorcus Kisakye etched her name in the history books by becoming the first player to score a goal for Kawempe Muslim in the schools’ beach soccer tournament.
Kisakye’s brace, along with Agnes Nabukenya’s two goals, Kampi Zoena’s strike, and Tracy Nabalanzi’s goal, secured a comfortable win for Kawempe Muslim.
Turyasingura Prudence, Abiko Brenda, and Karungi Phionah scored the goals for Standard High School Zana.
Other Results
In other matches, Mukono Kings High School had a strong start, beating Kasheshero Girls 2-1, thanks to goals from Gune Consy and Nakyanzi Sarah.
The hosts, Tororo Girls School, thrashed St Lawrence Citizen of Horizon 11-1, while Standard High School beat The Academy of St Lawrence 9-1.
Mbale School for the Deaf also registered a win, beating Kigezi High 5-3.
