2025 USSSA Ball Games II: Mbogo Mixed and Kawanda SS light up Tororo

The 2025 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) National Ball Games II Handball championship has kicked off in Tororo, with Mbogo Mixed Secondary School and Kawanda Secondary School making a strong impression.
In the girls’ category, Mbogo Mixed secured a convincing 15-10 win over Wampeewo Ntake in their tournament opener, while Kibuli SS dominated Trinity College Nabbingo with a 34-10 victory.
Mbogo Mixed and Kawanda SS Lead the Charge
In the boys’ category, Mbogo Mixed registered a resounding 27-09 win over Kakira, showcasing their potential to contend for the title.
Kawanda SS also made a strong statement with a 21-14 victory over Soroti SS. Other notable wins include St. John’s 25-12 triumph over St. Mark’s College Namagoma and Gombe SS’s 18-10 win over Mbarara High.
