Debutants Zana Mixed impress to announce their entry in USSSA Ball Games I

The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) National Ball Games I has officially kicked off, featuring exciting matches that are keeping fans on the edge of their seats.
Debutants Zana Mixed Secondary School made a strong impression in their opening game in girls basketball, despite losing to Nabisunsa Girls Secondary School.
Nabisunsa’s league experience and individual brilliance, led by Abigail Mpoza, proved too much for Zana Mixed, as they secured a hard-fought 23-16 victory.
Meanwhile, St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana dominated Lubiri SS 58-17 in their tournament opener, showcasing their impressive skills.
Defending champions St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School-Kitende got off to a strong start in their title defense, beating Tororo Girls 36-18.
Other notable results include Amus College’s 46-14 win over St. Cyprian Kyabakadde and Seeta High School’s 27-18 victory over MerryHill High School.
The games will continue this morning, with the finals scheduled for May 14, 2025.
