2025 U17 AFCON: 37 man Uganda Cubs provisional squad unveiled

As the 2025 U17 Africa Cup of Nations draws near, the Uganda U17 boys’ football national team, the Uganda Cubs, are gearing up for the prestigious tournament.
The team, which qualified as CECAFA region winners after defeating Tanzania 2-1 in the final, will be seeking to qualify for the FIFA U17 World Cup.
The Uganda Cubs have been placed in Group A alongside host nation Morocco, Tanzania, and Zambia.
The 2025 U17 AFCON will take place in Morocco from March 30 to April 19, 2025.
To prepare for this challenge, head coach Brian Ssenyondo has unveiled a provisional squad of 37 players.
The squad comprises players who played crucial roles in the CECAFA U17 triumph, the FUFA Juniors League, and standout performers from various school tournaments.
The selected players will enter camp on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, marking the beginning of their intense preparations for the 2025 U17 AFCON.
With a strong squad in place, the Uganda Cubs are poised to make a significant impact in Morocco.
